Seminar on Paving the Path to Net Zero: Sustainable Energy Solutions for Businesses

On October 29, 2024, Miss Pattra Suwannadej, Deputy Governor of MEA (Metropolitan Electricity Authority) and Acting Managing Director of MEA Smart Energy Solutions Co., Ltd. (MEAei), presided over the opening of the seminar titled “Paving the Path to Net Zero: Sustainable Energy Solutions for Businesses.” This seminar aimed to educate private sector entrepreneurs on renewable energy and sustainable energy management, providing guidance on energy management, carbon reduction, and the integration of renewable energy into business practices. The event was held in Conference Room 2-3, 12A Floor, Building B, at the MEA Headquarters in Khlong Toei.

Miss Pattra Suwannadej stated that MEA Smart Energy Solutions Co., Ltd. (MEAei), as a subsidiary of MEA established to provide consulting, design, installation, and investment services in Renewable Energy and Smart Energy systems, recognizes the importance of enhancing knowledge and understanding for business entrepreneurs regarding energy management practices. Therefore, MEAei organized this seminar to provide knowledge to entrepreneurs about renewable energy and sustainable energy management. The goal is to enable businesses to operate sustainably, use energy efficiently, reduce environmental impact, lower energy costs, decrease greenhouse gas emissions, and minimize the use of limited natural resources, all while maintaining performance and meeting organizational needs. This approach creates economic, social, and environmental benefits simultaneously.

The event was honored by the participation of Dr. Nattharika Wayupap Nitipon, Deputy Director and Acting Director of the Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organization (TGO), who delivered a presentation on “Green Thailand – Green Economy: Powering a Sustainable Future.” Additionally, Mr. Phoonlarp Pechrboonme, MEAei’s Smart Energy Manager, and Mr. Poramate Pichitanont, MEAei’s Renewable Energy Manager, presented on “Understanding Energy Management” and “Driving Success with Solar Solutions,” respectively. The seminar was attended by 150 participants, including business entrepreneurs, MEAei employees, and MEA staff.
