MEAei collaborates with LOXLEY in signing an MOU for the feasibility study of developing the Renewable Energy business

On May 8, 2023, Ms. Pattra Suwannadej, Assistant Governor of MEA (Metropolitan Electricity Authority), in her capacity as the Acting Chief Executive Officer of MEA Smart Energy Solutions Co., Ltd. (MEAei), along with Mr. Chalermchok Lamsam, Director and CEO of Loxley Public Company Limited (LOXLEY), participated in the signing ceremony to record a memorandum of understanding for a collaborative feasibility study of developing the Renewable Energy business between MEAei Limited and Loxley Limited (Public Company). This study aims to explore the possibilities of developing the Renewable Energy business, including investment and installation of solar cell power generation systems and Smart Energy systems, as well as other related business opportunities. The signing took place in the 18th-floor conference room of the Loxley building at the headquarters in Klong Toei.

Ms. Pattra Suwannadej, Assistant Governor of MEA and Acting General Manager of MEAei Limited, stated that MEAei, as a state enterprise under the Ministry of Energy of Thailand, is committed to providing comprehensive smart energy and renewable energy services to electricity consumers. The goal is to promote clean energy use and alleviate the energy cost burden on consumers, aligning with the government’s policies.

MEAei is collaborating with Loxley Public Company Limited to jointly study and develop the mentioned project, including product and service development related to the project. MEAei will provide necessary information and resources for the feasibility study of Renewable Energy business development, aiming for the successful implementation of the project and sustainable energy development.
